This graph shows the number of muntes of daylight as a function of the day of year.
There are seven sliders for physical parameters that affect this graph. By moving each one and seeing how the graph changes, can you identify what some of these parameters mean?
Look up the latitude for your home, and enter this as the value of \(L\). What are the least and greatest amounts of daylight that you receive throughout the year? When does the number of minutes of daylight change most quickly and most slowly? Can you explain why?
